MLV Law Group represents clients in domestic commercial arbitration seated in the Kingdom of Cambodia, principally before the National Commercial Arbitration Centre (NCAC). The NCAC, established under the Law on Commercial Arbitration (2006) and operating under its 2021 Arbitration Rules, has become the primary institutional forum for resolving business disputes in Cambodia. We guide clients through the entire process—from drafting robust arbitration clauses and filing Notices of Arbitration, through tribunal constitution, interim measures, evidentiary hearings, and the issuance of final awards. Cambodian courts increasingly support arbitration, and NCAC awards have a strong record of voluntary compliance and successful recognition and enforcement. We also advise on the interaction between arbitration and concurrent court proceedings, helping clients protect confidentiality and achieve finality more efficiently than traditional litigation.
