Cambodian court decisions of first instance may be appealed to the Court of Appeal and, on points of law, further to the Supreme Court. Appellate practice requires rigorous analysis of the trial record, precise identification of legal and factual errors, and persuasive written and oral advocacy. We represent appellants and respondents in commercial, civil, labor, family and criminal appeals, preparing comprehensive appeal briefs and appearing at hearings. Success on appeal often turns on early preservation of issues at trial and disciplined presentation of the appellate case. We work closely with trial counsel (whether our own or external) to maximize prospects of correction or affirmance as the client’s interests require.
