In multi-creditor situations, coordination among lenders and other creditors is often essential to achieve an orderly and value-maximizing outcome. We advise informal creditor groups and, where constituted, formal committees on strategy, information sharing, negotiation with the debtor, and the terms of any restructuring or standstill agreement. Our role includes analyzing the relative priority and enforceability of claims under Cambodian law, assessing the debtor’s proposals, and helping creditors present a unified position. Effective committee work reduces free-rider problems and increases the likelihood of a sustainable solution.
