Patent rights in Cambodia are governed by the Law on Patents, Utility Model Certificates and Industrial Designs. When infringement occurs, patent owners may seek civil remedies including injunctions, damages and destruction of infringing goods. We represent both patent holders and parties accused of infringement, conducting claim construction analysis, prior-art assessment, and evidence collection. Proceedings may involve the courts as well as coordination with customs or other enforcement agencies in counterfeiting scenarios. Because patent litigation remains relatively specialized in Cambodia, early strategic assessment of validity, infringement scope and commercial leverage is critical. We provide that assessment and, where litigation proceeds, robust representation through trial and any appellate stages.
